If you give me even the tiniest of credit, just the teeniest, tinyist of credit, I wouldn't start such a topic and then insult the quality of your avatars.

In addition to that somewhat obvious poing, the fact that this new avatar was a "winning" avatar could be considered evidence that the purpose of the topic is
too offer a complement.

If the purpose had not been to complement you, then I would have not PM'd you!

You're full of it. You could have easily PM'd her FIRST OR posted on GP where you have posted recently.

And as for a compliment....how about "Nice Avatar".

So to complement her, I would have to PM her, but to
make a topic post on ADM, it was not to complement her.

Well, try again, as your logic is obviously flawed.

I think I get how it is you live in the bizarro world, you implement the goofiest/most negative interpretation of an initial comment, then never look back and just hammer away.

I really hope Steven feels differently about my motives, because I can't support a group that would be this stupidly paranoid towards me when my post was meant to complement Shatzy.

I actually PM'd Shatzy because I was concerned her calling a hostboard member a contestant was shortchanging them. A CORRECT assumption born out by Gravy Train's mentioning of the actual winner.

So even when I my concerns are born out by a third party, you still want to bring the hammer down.

Just amazing.

Just to be absolutely clear, I could have complemented Shatzy on her choice of avatars after she replied, or I could have PM'd her stating my concern that it might be wise to mention the winner.

Gladhanding her on the forum would have been being a false friend when I was concerned how others might precieve her answer.

LO and Behold, Gravy Train posts the name of the winner in the very next post. Instead of shooting the messenger, why not appreciate that someone was watching your back.

Complementing Shatzy on her avatar is not really a bad thing is it?

Let's go over what the "Rules" say about the HB Admin board, shall we?

"Welcome to Hostboard's administration message board. Post your questions and comments about Hostboard here. Remember when asking about "your" message board to provide you message board number and or a link to it, there are alot of "my message boards" here.

Also when posting questions please do not post it within another thread but rather start a new thread. By doing this you will be assured that someone in the administration will see it, otherwise your post might go un-noticed.

This message board is for Hostboard related questions or comments ONLY! All other threads will be locked or deleted. Postings will remain for a maximum of 30 days before being purged."

If you want to "complement" her then send her a f.ucking candy gram or a nice flowery love poem telling how her eyes remind you of the most beautiful Super8mm camera you've ever seen.
Why post it on the Admin page?

Because you were trying to start s.hit.

And I guess I'm still not clear on one thing...you claim to be complimenting her...how is "giving her advice" also looked at by you as complimentary? Get youre GD s.hit straight.

It was CLEARLY posted on Shatzy's board who the winner was. Anyone that cared enough could have easily found out that information.

Maybe next time you could point that camera away from your teenie tiny weenie long enough to find out some info on your own.

I had no knowledge about the contest at all.

You're still being weird about the sequence of events. Of course I would "give advice" via PM rather than on Hostboard ADM, that would be a nice and civil thing to do when it involved an ADM person.

Tard has mentioned in the past on ADM that PM'ing is the civil way to communicate one on one matters if the content is potentially embarrassing to one side or the other.

But complementing someone on ADM when they are an ADM person is not starting shiit, as you seem to be implying. Hey, maybe you could lobby Shatzy to add a new rule, no complementing ADM, and eyes must be looking straight down when addressing ADM, (we can call that the Slyvester Stallone rule )

Now you pervert my intentions by implying that PM'ing someone is a method of starting shiit.

I remember a couple of months before Shatzy became a site administrator giving her a compliment on ADM about her siggy and the changing links that rotated through her signature.

But hey, that would just prove a positive history and a positive purpose for my post, and we can't have that, can't we.
